White Oak Financial Planning was set-up by director Tom Wilcox-Jones (Director and Chartered Financial Planner). Having spent the majority of his career living and working in London as an associate director for advisers Blackstone Moregate. Tom relocated to his native North Wales with his young family so that his children can enjoy a childhood away from the big city.
White Oak Financial Planning maintains strong ties to London with the firm being an appointed representative of Blackstone Moregate. This allows White Oak Financial Planning to benefit from the pooled resources and expertise of the wider group. This is of particular use when looking after client money. Tom continues to be a member of the BM Investment Committee tapping into investment expertise that advise on over £250m of client assets.
Tom Wilcox-Jones
As the founder and Director of White Oak Financial Planning, I am dedicated to providing professional and diligent financial advice with a focus on simplicity and clarity, I strive to help individuals and families make informed financial decisions.
Before establishing White Oak, I gained valuable experience in Wales, Cheshire, and London. Working with the prestigious advice and tax planning firm Blackstone Moregate, I eventually became an associate director. However, I decided to relocate back to North Wales in 2017 to create a business that reflects my own values and experiences.
As a Chartered Financial Planner and Pension Transfer Specialist, I hold a deep understanding of the intricacies of financial planning. I am a proud member of the Personal Finance Society. My specialist qualifications in Inheritance Tax planning and Pension advice enable me to provide comprehensive guidance in these areas.
Outside of work, I have a young family which keeps me busy, we enjoy getting out into nature, long walks, and plenty of sports. I also coach my son's junior football team. During my time in London, I was a member of the esteemed London Welsh Male Voice Choir, and I still cherish a good sing.
